Why Redeemer’s Grace Church Is Here
Redeemer’s Grace Church is a new Gospel-centered church — launched Fall 2017 — in Wichita that exists to glorify God by loving him and living in obedience to him, joyfully serving and loving others.
We gather every Sunday at 10:00 for prayer and worship at Wichita Friends School, 14700 W Kellogg, between 135th and 151st. Coffee and child security check-in for birth through Pre-K begins at 9:30 a.m.
We joyfully proclaim the glories of the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ through our core values of God’s Word, prayer, and mission. We pursue these values in public and private worship, in community, and in our individual daily living. There is no greater need than to be in right relationship with God, so Pastor David Atkins and the core team are passionate about spreading the Gospel, and introducing others to Jesus Christ—and we are just getting started!
We are here to minister to spiritual, physical, and life needs, so we serve the community here in Wichita, and around the globe. Working with at-risk kids, disaster relief, volunteering, outreach programs, and helping those in poverty are some of the ways we walk in obedience to God and share his love. Redeemer’s Grace is already working to serve our community by providing workshops and conferencing concerning parenting, marriage and family growth. We want to see God’s life-giving wisdom transform and bless our family and friends. Together, we are unified in love by our passion for God. Our church looks forward to joining with you in prayer and fellowship, and we are excited to partner with you on your spiritual journey, wherever you may be.
What is the Gospel?
The Gospel is good news that Holy God has made a way for us—people who are sinful, rebellious, proud, broken—to live with him in communion forever. The way he provided is through Jesus Christ, his Son, who came in human form to live a perfect life on our behalf, and die as a sacrifice and substitute for us, paying the price for our sin. He then rose to life, freely offering forgiveness and his eternal life to all who believe on him, turning to him in faith and repentance.
